The Children's Water Education Festival educates students about water-related and environmental issues. The Festival presents a unique opportunity to educate third, fourth and fifth grade students through hands-on learning activities taught by experts in their fields. Never has there been a more important time to teach our children that they can make a difference in protecting our water resources and environment for today, tomorrow and the future. All presentations are taught to California Science Standards and many incorporate STEM education. Since its inception, more than 115,000 Orange County students have experienced the Festival and all it has to offer.
Volunteers are needed to assist on Thursday, March 30, 2017 (event day 2). Shifts include check in, presenter assistants, parking attendants, guides, lunch delivery, bag stuffers, and more.
